A few years back when I worked at Tescos I picked up a £5 Video of a film called Ocean's Eleven. Never saw it before and LOVED IT.  A short time later the follow up film came along (which I missed at the cinema) and so when they came up on DVD as a double pack I grabbed it quick.  What a bad Idea. Ocean's Twelve was a really CRAP film. I think I have only watched the film once.

So When I saw that Ocean's Thirteen I was worried. I then started seeing the trailers and they did seem to look quite promising but we all know trailers can be very miss leading.

Well I am home from the cinema and now its time to let you know what I thought. (Dont worry there are NO spoilers ahead)

The Short answer is if you liked the First film. You will really enjoy the new one. Put all your fears and haunted memories of the abomination the was O's 12 behind you and go and see Ocean's Thirteen. It was great. All the things that made the first film good, are back. The filming style, the script, the soundtrack and the cast selection are all there. I am happy to say the Julia Roberts and Catherian Z Jones and NOT in the film. The plot twists and turns are back. There is even a story again. If I had to find a bad thing it would ave to be Matt Dammon. He was great to watch. The character has grown up from the young kid in the the first film into a cocky tit. Thankfully he is not on screen as much as the rest of the crew.

It was a VERY good film and I really enjoyed it. If you like Ocean's Eleven then Ocean's Thirteen is a must see.
